The HSG Tennis Team was one of the first four teams to join the University Tennis League (UTL) when it was founded in 2022. With the establishment of the league, the name St. Gallen Bears was introduced, under which the HSG Tennis Team competes in the UTL. 

Alongside the St. Gallen Bears, the Zurich Lions, Zurich Flyers, Lucerne Lakers, Geneva Eagles, Bern Capital, Basel Dragons, and Lausanne Owls compete for the UTL championship.
